Spare Tire Carrier Hoist Winch For Ford F-250 F-350 F-450 Super Duty 1999-2007

Works good, Some Mods Required

I had to modify the bolt locations on the frame where the winch mounts and bend back some tabs on the frame. I drilled the holes in the frame out wider to line up with the winch bolt holes. Also, the winch crank pin on the side of the winch did not line up with the hole in the frame that the winch tool goes through. The winch pin sits higher on the side of the winch then the OEM winch. So I had to extend the hole in the frame up about a 1/2 inch so I could slide the winch rod through to the winch. You do that from behind the truck and it slides into a plastic tube that directs it to the winch location. I had to get rid of that plastic tube too since it just made it more difficult. So, the winch works good but I had to make certain modifications to the frame it mounts on under the bed and where the winch tool rod connects to the winch pin at the side of the winch.

Handy little volt meter for quick checks of a 12v electrical system.

Have'nt actually had a chance to use it yet to troubleshoot anything but I like the compact size, the hard case it stores in and it appears to function properly. I bought it for my motorcycle tool kit. Very satisfied with what I received.
