An essential reference

As a big fan of the public library, I'm not one who advocates owning a lot of books. But after checking out this one from the library – and renewing it – I realized it simply had to be part of my permanent collection. It's chock-full of the useful type of information that keeps me coming back again and again. This book is to me (an avid home bartender) what Alice Waters's and Judy Rodgers's classic cookbooks are to my wife (the avid cook in our house). Highly recommended.
