I specialize in offering music of all styles and media types. I have a collection of Lp’s, sheet music, CD’s and other musical things that I have either been collecting or that I currently seek out. I work to clean and test the items listed. If I do test the item I will put that in the listing. I try to grade as close as possible and if I am not sure I will grade lower. I also play piano and guitar and I prefer Jazz and Classical music in general.

Jayhawks : Sound of Lies CD (Promo) TESTED PLAYS PERFECTLY

The Jayhawks Finest Recording
This is my favorite recording by The Jayhawks . It is dark and troubling. Some of the lyrics are horrible but the delivery is beautiful. It has the contrast of the Appalachian murder ballads. It also has an experimental twist that should have been more prominent on the other recordings but if so the fan base would be different. And the catchy pop song “Big Star” is so sarcastic that I think it may not be truly appreciated. This album requires some work to get into but once you do I feel confident that you will rank it much higher than it gets credit for. Again for me it is their greatest release.
