The Roches-New York's Finest
2 of 2 found this helpful I have owned Roche music for over 30 years now-vinyl-tape-and CD. I've grown up along side of them. If the folk genre is your cup of happiness, you won't be disappointed. "The Roches" is a benchmark album (the first for the three sisters). As a showcase for their phenominal voices and unique approach to their life's pursuit, "The Roches" has a timeless quality. This album will appeal to the seeker of the simple as well as to you with the most jaded musical palette. Any instrumentation is minimal-but percise. Maggie's, Terre's and Suzzy's vocal abilities trully are an orchestration in and of themselves and a joy to behold. Can you tell that I'm a fan?
