A dark, complex and thought provoking story.
Shay, a betrayed and left for dead Assassin turns to his worst enemies the Templar Order for the right reasons. He wants to save human life and will stop at nothing to protect the innocent, including tracking down and killing the people he once called brothers who are fixated on controlling powerful artifacts that if disturbed cause the Earth to collapse. This entry in Assassin's Creed shows that the Templars are not always evil, and the Assassin's are not always good. Shay has remorse for every kill he commits, because he understands that the Assassins are misguided. Full of conflict and character growth, this story is the best Assassin's Creed I've played to date.
