Nikon D5300 Digital SLR Camera w/ 18-55mm VR II AF-S Nikkor Lens

Perfect upgrade!

I upgraded to the D5300 from a D40. It was a long time coming! I like that it is similar enough to my D40 to be intuitive, yet has some new features to give me a bit of a challenge. For this enthusiast and hobbyist, taking photos for friends and family, this is all the camera I need. My old Nikkor lenses that I used with myD40 work perfectly with the D5300 (but I love the new and improved 15-55 VR lens!).
