I have to say I'm honestly impressed, but professionally boggled.
I've been a horologist for 20 plus years. A daily task of fully stripping a mechanical time piece, cleaning (all by hand), and reassembling....3 to 4 hours. I took an extremely filthy time piece from the early 1920's, submerged it in this cleaner for 400+ seconds, blow dried the excess water out, and it started functioning without any oil! I'm simply bewildered. I'll continue doing things the old fashioned way, but still intend on using this neat little machine for at least cleaning watch cases and jewelery.

In three seconds...smoke
2 of 2 found this helpful I'm a horologist, and these are a necessity to have near by. I was simply in dire need of a demagnetizer quickly, for work that had to ship out asap. 3 seconds into using it, (for the first time) and it was literally up in smoke. I would have been thankful for a few good uses. Unfortunately I can not recommend this unit. Perhaps I was one of the unfortunates to get a bad model, who knows... simply put, you get what you pay for.
