Lasted five minutes
No, actually it lasted 3 days. Set it up as a pond fountain pump on a solar panel via battery. 3 days later it was no longer working.

Don't waste your money.
If only it were possible to leave zero stars. In short, don't waste your money.
I've had a Philishave for years. It died recently. It's not the battery; it's the electronic gubbins inside. Being a bit reluctant to spend oodles of money on a new one (let's face it - they're all made in China anyway) I opted for this one direct from China.
It looks good. But the first issue is the 8 hour charge time. After an hour or so I thought I'd switch it on to check. That was the second issue. The on/off slidy button did not budge. Being a fairly strong chap, I put my thumbnail under it and pushed. Hard. Harder. And even harder still. Eventually it switched on. (I later got my wife to try to switch it on; she was unable to).
Success! Or maybe not. The motor sounded like half a bucket of nails in the back of DelBoy's van being driven over a particularly roughly-cobbled Peckham street.
Never mind, perhaps one gets used to the sound after a while. I switched it off again (with difficulty) and left it to charge some more.
A good eight hours later I tried again, and had the same difficulty in switching it on.
Now, I don't know what sort of facial hair the Chinese have. And my real name isn't Desperate Dan. But as the rotary cutters became engaged with my five-day growth of beard, the motor simply stalled.
I have now purchased a safety razor; the type with ordinary razor blades. And this product? I will be salvaging the battery and consigning the rest of it to the dustbin.
