Not for audio books listening in the car...

Wanted to listen to audio books on cassettes in the car. The volume is ridiculously low (tried several different audio books) unless you hold the recorder/player right next to your ear. It is very annoying that due to mild car noise I can't hear anything distinctly. If you are planning to use this recorder/player at home, where there is no noise, I am sure it will be fine, but not for car use... What a bummer :(
