2007 Prius - An Amazing Car!
I actually test drove the Toyota Prius when it was new in 2007 but could not afford the price the dealer was asking at that particular time (the price of gas was at an all time high). After the test drive I was hooked so I started looking for one on eBay and finally in January of 2010 I found a "one owner" 2007 Prius with only 20,000 miles on it (in showroom condition) for a price I could afford. The car is a Geek's dream! (even an old geek like me). While the Prius will not win many drag races, it will make many less trips to the gas pump. Honestly though, it has enough power to do the job. Anyone who buys (or wants to buy) a Prius should acclimate themselves in the knowledge required to own, operate and understand it. One can "just drive it" but it helps to know some of it's unique attributes to squeeze all the MPGs one can get out of the Prius. An example is that if you lightly feather the brake pedal when slowing down causes the generator to recharge the battery while if you stomp on the brakes it acts like any other car with no regeneration which equals less MPGs. Another good thing to know is 42 MPH is sort of a pivotal point that requires different driving techniques depending on whether you are above or below 42 MPH. Fortunately there is a whole group of friendly Prius owners out there that will be more than happy to help you get up to speed (pun intended) at www.priuschat.com. The only thing I would like to see added to mine is a driver's seat that can be adjusted up or down as I am a relatively tall dude and I tend to lower the seat a bit. Love the auto climate control, the smart key system, and the 6 disk - 6 speaker stereo system. The controls take a bit of getting used to as so does the sudo-gear shifter. I was surprised at how well I adjusted to the Prius' speedo display and dash layout. It is a bit unusual compared to other cars to say the least, but it just seems so natural to me. I think it sort of emulates a HUD (heads up display) that keeps me focused on the road at all times. Unfortunately the energy display is another story; while it is a geek's delight to watch all of the different modes coming in and out as you drive the car, it is also very distracting and downright dangerous. I find myself hypnotized while watching it perform it's magic and forgetting about where I am going. I seriously wonder how many accidents this has caused among Prius owners. Oh well, maybe I should "just drive it"?

    So far its great!
I have put about 300 miles on the tire so far and it is very smooth and handles terrific! I have an 06 Honda VTX 1300C and my bike handles better than it ever has. We will see how well it wears but for now, 5 stars!

    Sizing Chart needs Work!
I love the gloves but I had to return for one size larger. The sizing chart had me wearing a large but they were way too tight. I returned them and bought XL and honestly I wish they were 2XL. I think if they would measure all the way around the palm instead of just the width they could be more accurate.
