Plug is a little bent but unit works with the batteries I have and seems to work like my existing unit.

Arrived late and doa
0 of 2 found this helpful Product arrived late and when installed was dead on arrival. It did not power the MacBook nor accept a charge. It was one bad experience and may be a rare occurrence but it was not a direct Apple OEM battery and being doa makes it hard to recommend risking another try.

Great wet install shield at 1/3 the price of retail name brand.
These are almost identical to Zagg Invisible shields and install in the exact same way.
That being said they give you an insert with the link to the install video right in the box because it is a wet install. It is pretty forgiving as long as you use the fluid and squeegee out as much of the excess as you can. Remaining liquid bubbles will disappear after 48 hours completely from normal body heat evaporating the liquid. Air bubbles will not go away and should be resolved in the wet install as shown in the video.
I've installed over a hundred Zagg and Illumi shields when I worked at geek squad and on 9 of my last phones and tablets. The only thing that has ever damaged mine has been my cat chewing on my iPad's shield when I wasn't home.
Only complaint is the shield on a phone will lose its adhesiveness to the glass of the phone right around the 2 year mark if it stays in your pocket most of the day. It has been that way since my iPhone 3gs. They do start to peel but there are 2 illumi shields you get int he box so you will likely be on a different phone before you need to get a free replacement shield under the lifetime warranty.
