Father Dowling Mysteries DVD
A wonderful show! The characters are fun (Tom Bosley and Tracy Nelson, and Mary Wickes), and the stories captivating.

Movie Review
As difficult as the content is to see, it drives home the disparities between white and black ‘justice’ in the south during the fifties. Gregory Peck is quiet and old-school gentlemanly, but strong enough to stand up for his convictions of right and wrong—even as his neighbors take his belief in the right of every man to a fair trial to mean he’s against them.

If you enjoy NASCAR (and do not take life too seriously) will like it!

On a personal note, I really don't care that much for Will Farrell as an actor or comedian, but in this movie, he is actually amusing.
The actual footage from NASCAR races added quite a bit to the movie and was very enjoyable. We also liked the cameos and bit parts of real NASCAR drivers and commentators. The in-car shots on the actors was very well done as well.
Although, in our opinion (my husband, brother, nephew and myself) it will never rank up there as a classic, it was enjoyable. It was funny enough in places (not a laugh-until-you-hurtcomedy) and enjoyable enough that we will no doubt watch it again sometime.
