Excellent 1/700 scale WWI Royal Navy Battlecruiser
Excellent rendition of HMS Invincible in 1/700 scale. Nice crisply molded pieces and parts. Also, kits contains PE and brass barrels.

The Alliance of the three Kaisers and what happened to destroy it.
For students of WWI and 19th century European history, Imperial Germany's relationship with Imperial Russia and Austro-Hungary are of keen interest. Following the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 and the formulation of the German Empire, Bismarck set about to keep the stability of Europe through a political instrument widely known as the DreiKaisersBund (the alliance of the three Kaisers -Whilhelm I of Germany, Alexander II of Russia, and Franz Joseph II of Austro-Hungary).
The existence of this relationship, what brought it about, why it endured, and finally why it eventually broke down is the topic of this book.
George Kennan is an American diplomat and historian who gives this topic a well deserved vitality.
For the student of WWI wondering about how the Franco-Russian alliance came about, this is a treasure trove of information about the events which brought that event about.
