Be sure to pre cool food.
3 of 3 found this helpful Perfect size for my use. I drive truck and this cooler fits on the floor between the seats of my Kenworth while still holding 4-5 days worth of meals and snacks. A tip for summer, I put one or two frozen cold packs in along with food if there's room. Keeps everything really cold then and make sure everything is precooled before putting in cooler.

I am an OTR truck driver. Go in knowing that when you use truck routing they sometimes send you on ridiculous routes that go too far out of route. It avoids routes that are totally fine to take with a truck. iIt overcompensates to make sure you are on a legal route. This is probably OK for states like MD or VA, but in the midwest or western states it can be annoying! Always get directions from shipper or consignee and if you need to, switch to car mode and adjust your route by using trip planner mode if necessary. The truck mode has a long way to go to be perfect, but knowing this going in, it is a very good product otherwise.
