A time of reflection
My wife was given this book as a remembrance by a dear friend who was terminally ill. My own wife, while chronically ill and bedfast in a nursing home, read the book and highlighted many of the passages even making some notes. After my wife passed I put the book in my bookcase and forgot about it. Within the past two months I pulled it out and began reading it to a man who has stroked and is wheelchair bound. Only then did I realize how much it meant to my wife when I see her markings and meditate on how deeply she felt about some of these psalms. Don't read it hurridly. It is a a work to be contemplated.
