Just insanity

A nearly incomprehensible retelling of Pinocchio. This movie is absolutely manic and amazing, with a jaw dropping ending. I cannot recommend it enough.

Fun ride

Honestly it’s just a really fun ride throughout. Great character acting, everyone is so engaging. It’s a really funny moment, and the moments of gore are really effective and well done. Unfortunately advertising for this movie kinda ruined a lot of the best parts and skews what the movie actually is. I recommend watching this without watching the trailer, or at least keep this in mind.

Classic vampiric cinema

A beautiful movie through and through. I’ve been looking forward to adding this to my collection, and the criterion collections edition in particular. A beautiful revival of a horror classic, inclusion of special features and even a booklet not only containing the original screen play, but the story that inspired the movie as well.
