Adapter was in brand new perfect condit...

Adapter was in brand new perfect condition. You need to use the usb-c port with the letter D next to it on laptops to make it work. I used an 8k capable regular male Displayport to USB-C cable. Otherwise a Displayport to Displayport cable is required. From Carolina to BC in a couple weeks. Thanks Mr. Skinner. They are sold out everywhere here.
