Casio W753D-1AV Tide/Moon Watch
1 of 1 found this helpful I like this watch (how it feels, readability of the time/date/etc) BUT there are 2 big shortcomings that make it a problem. First, the accuracy of the moon day/phase calculation is only +/- 3 days according the instructions ... which is not very accurate at all! And, since the tide calculations are based on the moon day calculations, the tide indications are similarly inaccurate.
Second, the moon phase and tide indicators on the display are hard to read in anything other than a perfect light condition. Not good at all in my opinion.
I have an earlier Casio tide watch that is very accurate and whose display is clear ... so they have gotten it right in the past.
Net-net, I would suggest finding another tide/moon watch if that function is important to you ... as it is to me!
