Small, Fast, Quiet & Affordable
This thing looked great in the pics and seemed to have really good reviews (I also checked Amazon reviews). I'm a software developer by trade so I'm a bit of a techie. That said, I work on OSX (Mac) and even though this is formatted to Windows it took all of 60 seconds to reformat it from NTFS to HFS+ within Disk Utility. It's currently transferring 297GB worth of files and quoting 5 hours to completion (that's FAST). I remember buying a 1TB HD years ago for $175 or so, and it was 3X the size. This WD Passport is small has 3X the capacity and was a great value at $115. So yeah, I'm totally satisfied all around.
