Not the Same
The reason I purchased this item was to permanently connect the maintainer to my motorcycle battery so I could quickly plug it in when not using my bike on a regular basis. I purchased this same item a couple of years back and it came with SEPARATE alligator and flat connectors that were interchangeable with the connector from the electrical plug end. So if I wanted to use the alligator clips to charge my car battery, I could just plug it into the connector from the plug-in.
When I received the item this time, it only came with ONE connector on the battery side, and required unscrewing the flat end connectors from the alligator clips. Now the alligator clips are useless.

Works like it should
Item arrived quickly and I've used it twice with no complaints. I like that this product has an adapter in the middle so you can choose whether to connect to the battery via the alligator clips or the round end battery terminal connections. I just leave the round ends on my battery terminals and tuck the cable under my motorcycle seat for easy connection to my garage electrical outlet. No more having to remove the battery compartment cover to charge the battery.
