An excellent bit of kit!
Having worked in IT support for many years, I have worked with and owned a number of APC Smart-UPS (1500 VA) units. They have always kicked in when required and the only maintenance required is new batteries every 5 years. The Smart-UPS (750 VA) the junior version of the 1500 VA, in a smaller package. Retired now, I have had a 1500VA for the last 10 years protecting my PC and associated kit. We recently moved to the countryside and have experienced frequent brownouts and mini-outages. I therefore bought the 750VA to protect the TV, satellite and associated kit. Since installation it has performed perfectly. A big advantage of this range is that they are completely silent most of the time. The fans only switch on when there is a mains power outage and they are running on battery power. They are excellent bits of kit.
