Good quality replacement pad for Craftsman orbital sander
1 of 1 found this helpful In searching for a replacement pad for our Sears Craftsman orbital sander model 172.276750 (original pad part number 2PES03A2000000A-00)
I picked this one based on looks and screwhole locations.
A wild bet that worked. It fits perfectly and so far, after three days of intense sanding, seems to hold up with no trouble.
I hope this information will come in handy for someone else out there.

Almost perfect. But not quite.
For some odd reason, the maker of these does not include a spring. This small spring in the screw makes a huge difference - it keeps the hoop taut and makes for a much easier hooping experience. I simply add my own spring (easily obtainable on ebay or you might have something suitable at home) but really it should have been included. If your hoop closing clip falls out of your hoop, this separating spring is what you need.
