Classic is as classic does

This is a classic sega game. This RPG was a real defining game that had a clear mix of RPG meets RTS, w/ some unique and interesting mechanics. To really love this series you should start by playing Shining Force I and then move to Shining Force II. If you are someone that really enjoys character development and the ability to progress your individual members to new class arch-types you will really enjoy this game. Mix that in with turn based battlefield mechanics and you have a solid winner. Many games today try to emulate this ability from the past but lose sight of core mechanics w/ flashy graphics.
