Great little power amp
1 of 1 found this helpful We're an audio repair shop in San Diego. We've bought a couple of these. They're both cost-effective and easy to install for replacement amps on low-power audio gear where the original amplifier has had an expensive, major failure.

Great five-disc changer with an occasional mechanical glitch
13 of 14 found this helpful I've bought over thirty of the CDP-CE275 and CDP-CE375. I also own a major audio repair company in Southern California. We fix these up and resell them. They work well and are easy to use, except for one failure. There are five circular cut-outs in the carousel that the CDs sit in. Each cut-out is supposed to line up symmetrically under the disc clamp when the disc in question is told to play. The failure is that the cut-out won't line up symmetrically----it will stop slightly counterclockwise of correct alignment, as seen from the operator's point of view. The result is that some discs won't be clamped correctly. When this happens, they will refuse to play. Usually, this malfunction can be repaired by replacing the little belt that turns the carousel around. A new belt improves the timing. Unfortunately, to get to the belt, you need to remove the front panel so that you can unscrew the entire carousel assembly. The belt is under the carousel. That said . . . I intend to continue purchasing these because not much else goes wrong with them, and my customers are very satisfied with their performance.
