Tour Edge Exotics XCG 5 wood w/Aldila DVS 75gram stiff
5 of 5 found this helpful I'm a 6hdcp player and have tried the other major brand fairway woods. I was impressed with the Exotics CB1 and tried the XCG 3 wood that my friend had. I was impressed but didn't feel I was getting the most from the stock shaft. I purchased the tour edge xcg 5 wood with the Aldila DVS 75gram stiff shaft. This club goes right where you want it provided you impart a good swing. Feedback is immediate and you know if you hit it well or not. When you hit it flush you don't even have look if it went where you aimed it's there, and long too. I use it off the tee on the short par fours from the regular tees.
This is also one of the best looking clubs out there. The DVS shaft stands out too and at set up there is nothing to distract your attention. My playing partners had to ask what I was hitting cause it looked so sharp. For me the search is over. With this wood I can hit it smooth or be aggressive and it performs every time.
