swollen with a bad cell after 2nd charge
1 of 1 found this helpful I received this battery in June. I balanced charged it with my Tenergy TB6B charger at 1 amp and installed it in my Hubsan transmitter. Seemed to work great. When it got down to about 10Volts I recharged it again. I did not fly for awhile and just got it out last night. Transmitter said it had 11.3 volts so I flew. 2 minutes into the flight the transmitter warned low voltage so I started to bring it back, voltage was at 7 and dropping fast, The transmitter shut off at 5 volts and the drone went into fail safe return mode. This was all in about 3-4 minutes. I took the battery out and it was swollen. I tried to charge it but the charger warned " Low cell volume error" I did get it to balance charge eventually but it only took 300mah. I then tried a lipo discharge cycle at .1 amps and it errors out with the low cell warning showing 2 cells at 4ish volts and the third at 2 volts.
I am out of the 30 day return window but thought someone may find this helpful.
