Vantec VLink USB-C 5-in-1 Multi-Port Adapter

Fantastic USB-C Multi-Port Adaptor. Fast and Stable operation under heavy workloads

Not all USB-C Multi-Port Adaptors are made the same. I bought a OEM Satechi multipart adaptor prior to obtaining this. It had a lot of issues; If you plug in the adaptor with a USB hard drive attached, the drive detached then reattached whenever the USB-C PD port was used. Doesn't happen on the Vantec. Port to port transfer speeds are also much much higher on the Vantec when compared to Satechi. I did a recent data recovery job using a MacBook which only had 1 USB-C Port. Using the Satechi, it took 16 hours to scan a 3 TB hard drive for recoverable files. Repeating the scan on the Vantec took just 6 hours! I guess with the Vantec, you get what you pay for
