Good for reading and referencing.
Yes, TSF is a narcissistic a-hole, but he knows it, and he's got the credentials to excuse him of it for a bit. This book is an excellent installment in the series that I use as a coach regularly. Understanding the mentality of football players is tricky on an easy day, and the use of anecdotes from his professional days with the Secret Psychologist's insight makes this an entertaining read and an excellent handbook to keep on your desk.

Fixed my TV
Television was struck by lightning last April, and I was ready to just give it away at a garage sale. Fortunately, I came across a YouTube video showing how just replacing the main board and the power board (?) could fix it. On a scale of 1-10, I'm probably a 3 as far as technically savvy, and lo and behold, the TV works!!!

A great book to read when your little one is ill.
Like all the "Good Knight" books, Shelley Moore Thomas combines the right amount of imagery, silliness, and repetition. When your little one is ill, there is nothing better than a story that confirms the fact that there is nothing more healing to them than the tender loving care of a parent.
