NEW Radio Shack UHF Bow Tie Bowtie TV Antenna Indoor Reception 150-0234
    Feb 15, 2019
The Greatest Antenna Money Can Buy
This bowtie antenna type has pretty much disappeared since the 2009 DTV Transition, as the myth prevailed that new antennas worked better than older ones. This appears to have been manufactured when digital broadcasting first began in the late 1990s or early 2000s. This antenna works better than do my RadioShack rabbit ears I have in my living room. It picks up ABC, which is rare for any antenna user to achieve in the rural areas. I have it connected to a signal booster and it picks up all of the UHF channels digitally that were previously accessible in analog when analog broadcasting was still on. You will need a 300 to 75 ohm transformer if you want to use this with a modern flatscreen TV or and tube TV set made from 1990 or later. It is worth the price though. If you buy this pair, it will suit you until a second DTV switch happens.
RCA 40 mile Range Indoor Amplified TV FM Antenna 1080 HDTV Rabbit Ears HD ant310

    Overpriced with little advantage
This model of antenna rabbit ears is one of the later ones made before manufacturing companies began transitioning to flat-type antennas after the FCC Repack of 2016. These are far stronger than the flat models, but they are not multi-directional. This one can receive channels only from the direction in which the ears can reach. I have several other antennas, including a General Electric model and a Radioshack model and they do far better in terms of channel coverage than does this one. There are several UHF channels that are much harder to receive when I use this model of antenna, including some syndication networks and the public broadcasting channels. There is one thing some people would suggest that includes daisy-chaining two pairs of rabbit ears and pointing them in different directions by using a VHF/UHF combiner. This does not work at all and only diminishes the number of channels you will receive. This model has built-in amplification ability and still cannot receive the channels that a non-amplified antenna would. I would not at all recommend this model over those of most other manufacturers. The manufacturer goofed when developing this indoor antenna.
    TAPPY TOES NEW DVD

An champagne movie on a beer budget. (Not sarcasm).
Worth every dollar! First of all, this is not at all a ripoff, despite the online criticism from various sources. The storyline isn't even close in resemblance to that horrible garbage show Happy Feet. It's about a penguin who discovers he can dance by using tap shoes. In the end, the Skua birds realize the error of their ways and become friends with the Penguins. The villain, a hermit crab, speaks with clever prose and witty humor that you miss it when he's absent. His sarcastic element reminds me of what is sometimes used in Family Guy. The animation wasn't from outsourcing. It bore much resemblance to a Seth McFarlane cartoon. This may not be a theatrical film, but it's much easier to watch and far better than Toy Story 3, The Super Mario Bros movie, The Boss Baby, and that abomination Kung Fu Panda. Plus, this doesn't have all of the fart humor that permeates many animated films. It might not be deep and serious on its own merits, but when compared to the other garbage that's in theaters, it sure looks serious. It should be said that the film is really formidable comedy. It is every bit equal to Seth McFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy. I watched it on Youtube, thinking it would be really lousy, but I actually liked it from the beginning to the end. The intro is a hoot. Tappy Toes opens with a parody of a nature documentary, mixed in with fourth wall breaking. I'd pay $15 dollars to see this at a theater. Kudos to Gaiam.
