Not bad for what it is!
This is a nice mini lathe, but being small and somewhat delicate, keep in mind it requires a gentle touch and some finesse to operate satisfactory. It will serve the purpose I bought it for.
Mine did not come with instructions, which would have been helpful.

The Fine Tuner of the Pros
0 of 1 found this helpful The Hill style fine tuner is a step up from other models, as it's not only lighter in weight, but also allows the string to have the correct afterlength, which can be beneficial to the sound.
Installation is just like other popular models, and even though Wittner is a very good brand with great quality finish, I still recommend carefully sanding or filing the hook where the string loop goes, to round the edges and make sure it won't wear out the string prematurely.
