excellent baby gate - highly recommend
Gate is made of strong steel material and the latch mechanism is very robust. Easy to install. This is a great design on the part of the Safety 1st company. We own 2 of them and are considering a third one. A note: when we bought a refurbished model, the latch button was getting stuck and too hard to press. I just opened the latch mechanism (4 simple screws) and put some basic lubrication grease (any $1-$5 grease works) on the plastic buttons and levers inside. Took 10 minutes and now works smooth like butter. Highly recommend the gate. Read the included instructions.

excellent light switch
The switch works great. Even though it is designed for halogen or incandescent lights only, it works just as well (including dimming) with high quality LED bulbs. It is just a matter of finding the bulbs that it works well with.
