Best Android phone and value in 2020 hands down.
Amazing phone! I have been a die-hard Android fanatic for a long time, and I had Nexus phones, then Pixels after that. My most recent phone before this was a Pixel 3a. I wanted to upgrade but the new Pixel 5 just underwhelmed me. The small form-factor is not what I wanted, also the specs were not great. I know a vanilla android experience can be quick and fast regardless of specs, but why not have both? That's why I got this phone. It's a generation behind by age, but not by specs. The screen is large and curved, and high quality, and no camera notch at all. That alone sets this phone apart from the competition. It also has long battery life, and fast processor, lots of ram, etc. And Oxygen OS is pretty close to the Pixel experience. The camera might not be cutting edge, but it's good enough for pics of my kids, which is what most people use it for anyway. Even though it's not certified, it has a high resistance to water, which is nice. This one was unlocked, but originally T-Mobile. I wish I had bought the international version instead because I'm using it on Verizon. Not a big deal though, and there are ways to de-brand it if I ever want to. I'm 42 and my vision is not what it used to be, so a large vibrant screen is very nice. Also I watch videos and play games. I really have nothing negative to say about this phone. And in 2020 to get a phone this spec'd out, with 256GB of storage, and 8Gb of ram, for less than $500. you just can't beat that if you're an Android lover.
