Dvds play but need cleaned before watching due to smudges and scratches.

The packaging was in new condition and the dvds play. The only complaint I have is that the dvds came out of the package smudged. These where labled new and straight out of the shrink wrap. And after cleaning the dvds with a clean microfiber cloth and DVD cleaned it revealed surface scratches. I know this seems like a minor complaint but the description said new and to me that means no prep work or cleaning or scratches. Just pull out the DVD, pop it in and hot play. This is the main reason for the two star. Three out of the 7 dvds skip and have problems playing. This is very irritating cuz it breaks up the action as well as the story. Not happy with this purchase. But 4 of the dvds have no issue.
