Label says 100 ft-lb, yet it easily torqued my lugs to 160-200.
Tried to use this on my Ryobi 18v 450-600ft.lb. impact wrench. I'm not a mechanic by trade, but I could feel that something was off about the accuracy of this product. It would continue tightening my lug nuts as long as I allowed it to keep hammering. I invited my friend over who recommended this 100-lb torque stick, and we tested it against his Snap-On torque wrench. The result was that this stick 'allowed' torque levels in the 150-200ft.lb. range. WAY too high for my wheels. Thank God I questioned this, as it would have damaged my studs and maybe even my wheels. Hopefully being over-tightened for a few hours won't have any permanent negative effects.
As an interesting aside, if I just set my Ryobi to '2' then it tightens down to almost exactly 100ft.lb. The Steelman that I received absolutely did not work for me, and I don't know if I could ever trust a similar product in the future. The discrepancy impossibly bad... unforgiveable, really.
