Fog Lamps Light for Smart Fortwo W453

Great kit to get you started on your way to working fog lights

This is a great package to install fog lights. Comes with the light fixture, pieces to hold them in place, the wiring needed, the selector switch needed to turn them on "the stock doesn't have a fog light option", and an OBD II reader. Everything you need to install fog lights on the 453. DO YOU WANT THEM TO TURN ON? Things you should know before buying. The instructions are not the best but manageable. The OBD II doesn't come with a disk "mine didn't" you will need one. I bought the OBD II ELM with disk from the UK, It has to be for a 453 Smart ForTwo. You need Windows 10 on your laptop to run it. You will need software to open the DDT4ALL program. This is something you need to download yourself, not all will work, I had to try a few. It got very frustrating, so there is the dealership option. The 453 is wired for fog lights from the ECU to the end of a connection used for your turn signals. That's where you will be installing the wiring pins provided. Remove the grey plugs that are in the tiny holes and install the wiring pins in the correct place. If your not sure or they don't come on after you programmed the car, use a light tester. If the programming was successful the fog light indicator will be on next to the head light indicator letting you know the lights are on. Do some research on DDT4ALL, the instruction will not help you. This package gets you lights and a switch, they wont turn on without programming the car. I installed LED bulbs, the kit has bulbs. Yours will not have the blue color but will work. Good Luck,

Must Have Battery For The Big Jobs

The 12.0 battery is a must have in your Milwaukee arsenal. Definitely needed for the leaf blower and can't loosen tight lug nuts with the 1/2" impact without it.
