Design not the greatest
3 of 3 found this helpful It looks good, and brews reasonably quickly but not fast.
The programming is awkward for setting times, and worse is that the tiny display that is not back-lit being on the bottom of the brewer means you have to get your face down on the counter and close to see, and provide enough light to see.
I thought that the electronics being on the bottom would be good for durability, and it may be. I have mad many cease functioning from steam in the controls.
The pouring space is cluttered, so you need to see clearly and fill carefully.
The basket lock is poor, it works but does not feel secure or easy to undo.
The basket assembly itself does not remove or reinsert easily - you have to align plastic pins that you cannot easily see, and it feels like you are breaking it - maybe you are.
The carafe lid is in the way during cleaning, it is removable but the plastic feels like that would wear out quickly.
But I must say it produces coffee that is superior to my Keurigs!
