If you need plugged in power this is the device you want

Just what the doctor ordered to let me use the new Canon Beta webcam utility. This works for with my 5D III or my 7D MK II. The one trick to know is that there is actually a small rubber flange on the inside of the hand grip right next to the battery compartment door. Open that up and the cord from the battery module will fit through it and allow you to close the battery compartment door properly.
