Ping G30 Throw Down
Basically wanted to have a spare so thought I would try a Ping 9 degree model in a regular stock shaft. See lots of people hitting them and I have hit it a few times. The good things are it has a deep face, you can tee it higher. Set at 9 degrees I got a nice launch angle about the same distance and roll out as my Mizuno EZ (200-230 yds). Was not real happy with the sound and feel at impact, sounded on the loud side. I like a muffled thwack. In this throw down the Mizuno wins, distance, feel and sound.

Tight Lies Tour 14.5*
Purchased the Tight Lies Tour 14.5* with a stiff shaft. Pro's: Solid feel, nice looking club, low boring ball flight, lower profile head than most other bulky 3 woods. Con's: had to shorten the 43" shaft 1/2". Bottom of club head has an 8g weight that I replaced with a 1g to reduce overall weight and feel. Overall I'm satisfied because of the lower flight, better distance and solid feel. I chose a stiff shaft because the regular felt to soft. You may want to also consider the regular Tight Lies, the Tour Model has a lower overall spin rate, smaller head and a deeper face, both clubs are a D2 swing weight.

TPMS Device
Works! A must have for resetting annoying TPMS. Make sure you order the correct model for your car. Most Important "USE A HIGH QUALITY 9V BATTERY!!" Will not reset without one!!!
