Large, bright screen. High sensitivity. Probes connection quality is the key to a repeatable reading
2 of 2 found this helpful Great product. Very sensitive. As usual, the probes don't make a perfect connection every time, which can affect the reading by a few MilliOhms. Squeezing the probes together by hand seems to do the trick and allows for a (reasonably) repeatable number (as long as the probes connection is clean where the probes grab). Unit uses 6 AA batteries (3 rows of two bats), with a 4th row of unwired space that looks like it is for batteries or future batteries. Since the 4th battery bay has no connections it makes no sense to put batteries in it. It can be used to store the user manual (roll and trim it to make it fit).
Note:
I had to trim the included 2.1x5.5mm power connector rubber at the base to allow full insertion, It's diameter, at the rubber, is too large to get past the case's hole. Trimmed about 3mm of the rubber off the metal shaft and it can now be fully seated/inserted. The wall ps takes over for the batteries (disconnects the batteries when plugged into the unit) and thus does not charge or affect the batteries at all. Interestingly, switching source from (fresh) batteries to wall power supply does not affect the readings, which is good.

Perfect, shown in OEM gray but is not that color. Can be painted if done right.
Fits well and looks OEM on SRT8 (Jeep 2006). These can be painted to any oem color and if prepared correctly and using correct profession grade (can spray works) paint and technique, is very durable and turns out great. Bit of a hassle on SRT8 as interior colors are not well doc or should I say completely accurate, but it can be figured out with super results (trial/error and patiences mucho needed). Pict of OEM SRT8 color after painting (left) and "Black" as site says and as received (right). Photo is for color, these are not stretched out yet, so wrinkles still are showing from shipment. My OEM color came with color matched to one of the dashboard colors.
Of coarse, I don't know how your monitor shows these colors. On mine, this picts colors are accurate.

Has SIM slot for GSM networks- Works with T-mobile and probably the others
-Great squarish screen similar to Ipad
-Bright when adjusted away from defaults but at expense of battery time.
-Very high res. screen and very bright when the adjustments are made properly.
-MOST IMPORTANT: SIM allows full functions of cell phone, eliminating requirement to get a wi-fi connection
Downside:
-No US warranty. My experience, this means no warranty period. Return window only. BUT near end of ebay purchase I was offered a Square Trade warranty that specifically supported international devices also. Two versions offered, failures only and accident. I have no idea if ST is any good, they and the other 3rd party warranty companies seem to get mixed reviews. The ST warranty I think fell into the $50-$150 range. I had the predecessor to this model (SM-T715) and the extra warranty would have been a waste.
-Get a 3rd party magnetic breakaway micro usb cable for around $20 to save the usb port. I liked Mcdodo 3 in 1 Metal Magnetic Nylon Cable iPhone/Micro USB for it's fast charge ability and compact angled connector (not reversible though). Will do data when not charging also, but most do that I think. Note that USB charging and Data via usb can not been done at the same time. A OnTheGo (OTG) cable is needed for data (no charging) and it uses the charge wires to now supply power the the mouse, keyboard, flash, etc. Wi-fi, Bluetooth work fine during charging, just not the usb connections. When charging the usb cable is dedicated to charging only. Not uncommon though.
