Certainly Worth Considering

I haven't used these tips a great deal, but I have tested all of them and they come up to temp quickly and they work. The fit isn't quite as snug as the OEM tip fit, in the sleeve assembly. From a practical point of view, when inserting a tip in the Hakko handpiece, that has been pre-installed in a sleeve assembly, the tip will dislodge slightly, from the sleeve assembly, requiring adjustment of the tip in order to make electrical contact. This should only present an issue, if you intend to hot swap tips. I did utilize the knife tip the other day, to remove a plastic lens mount from fairly delicate GoPro stock M12 lens and the tip performed admirably. Without that particular tip, I would have been relegated to attempting another removal by force, which previously destroyed a lens. That having been said, the tips have already paid for themselves and I'm considering buying another set, for back-up. Definitely worth the money!
