Brake Pipe Flaring Tool Kit K Tool 70081 -

Best tool ever

I have some very expensive flaring tools. None are as easy to use as this one. When making,or at least trying to make, brake lines I measure them long because inevitably some have to be cut because the flares aren't right. Not this time, I had to cut them down in length because the flares were right and the lines were to long. I put new lines from the front tee all the way back on the wife's 57, not one leak. What would normally take me half a day I did in a couple of hours. The other set of dies for this are next on my list. Several companies sell this exact tool under their own brand, so do a little research and find the best price you can. I have a background in mechanics, old school stuff, and consider myself capable of doing anything my cars need but have never liked to make brake or transmission lines. With this tool that's changed now. Even the hobbyist that makes the occasional line would do good to spend the money on this tool.
