It's Certainly Somewhat Pink
Once the darling daughter saw the pinkness of this bike it was no contest. I was more attracted to the 6 gears and alloy frame as she is a skinny little muscle free zone, with added laziness downgrade, so I wanted a bike that she would feel able to peddle up those super steep a 1 in 50 hills she struggled with on the previous bike.
It's well built, was a sinch to assemble, and the ability to adjust the seat stem with the quick release system is a boon for a fast growing lass. And it arrived super speedily from Parkers of Bolton, I mean it was almost literally here before I had ordered it, how they do that I do not know.
And straight off she's peddling up steeper inclines like a good un and went further on her first family cycle ride than she had on any previous peddle. She's bigger than average for a 7.5 year old girl and this bike is just right for her. Though if she was much smaller it might start to be a struggle for her. What I do like is that the seat and handlebar stems will clearly provide several years growth for her, so it is a good investment.
I did ponder going for a 22/24 inch wheeled monster, but actually this bike is just right for her, so very pleased I didnt go nuclear on the size. Last thing I want to do is put her off. All in all, very pleased and just perfect for my little one.
