The TEAC A-4300SX is a super choice for a home Reel-to-Reel enthusiast and audiophile alike. It has very good audio specs, it is built TEAC tough and this particular model is one of the easiest to use of all the RTR's made. I have two of them and enjoy the clarity of sound on recording at 7 1/2 IPS. It uses the standard 7" reels of tape which are easy to purchase new at very reasonable cost. If you are looking for that one special, affordable, great quality Reel-to-Reel for your vintage home system -- this is it.

Vintage Pre-recorded Boz Scaggs Cassettes
The vintage (original) pre-recorded Boz Scaggs Silk Degrees Cassette tape work well in my mint restored Pioneer CT-F9191 beautiful cassette deck. The tape still sounded good. I had to pump up the upper middle range and filter the low end a bit to clean up the sound but the tape sound quality was like new. The second tap of Boz Scaggs that was a newer album was also in new sounding shape. I recommend these tapes to vintage cassette owners or car audio cassette owners. You'll love the songs.
