Odd phrasing but then it was an odd book.
First time I've read this writer. He acted like this was a serious mystery 'til the last couple of chapters. Then it turned plain ol dumb. I was looking for a new series to read. Guess it won't be this one.

How to keep toasty this winter!
Instructions are beautifully written and easy to follow. I've just finished the Fisherman Hat and Scarf set. It's gonna make a great gift!

Disappointing
Talk about missing the mark!
I guess I expected to read about the PEOPLE of the Caribbean but what I got was a dry, flat, sad account of a bunch of greedy, bigoted Englishmen who conveniently convinced themselves that the rest of us have no souls and therefore could be brutalized, exploited, and treated like worthless animals. Few characters showed a hint compassion for anyone but themselves. Selfishness and self-righteousness carried the day. This book left me feeling like organized religion has a lot to answer for!
