Won't work on most drums
The bottom of drum rims usually are flush with the base of the hoop on the drum head, so there is nothing for the bottom of these clips to hook on to. Photo is on a Pearl kit, but I've tried Tama and ddrum as well, same problem.

Easy to use, great value
Took me under 30 minutes to pull the old one off, put the new one on, and get it running and controlled from my phone and laptop. Who needs a $300 nest or whatever. good ol' honeywell.

Great for the price, but lube up the joints and mount it right.
2 of 2 found this helpful I thought this might be a little chinsy for the cost, but I knew the (65" Sceptre) TV wasn't even close to the weight limit. First thing I noticed was the mount was fairly heavy. decent thickness steel on the brackets. But it's a bit stiff to move, a bit too much for me to move it by moving my TV as I felt I could crack the screen. I loosened the bolts in the arms a bout a half turn a piece and sprayed some lithium grease in and exercised it a little and now it works like a charm. I also drilled two extra holes in line with the studs on the wall plate so I could use all 6 included bolts on the 16" span of my studs (mount to studs is a must even though they include drywall anchors.) and made a protective board to go between the wall and the mount to prevent the drywall from crushing under the bottom edge as I've seen this at other people's houses.
Good mount for the cost if you have the handyman know-how.
