A highly recommended read!
Though some of the stories may come across as dated to newer readers, I consider this collection as seriously one of my favorite anthologies of LGBT short fiction

If you don't trust me, trust David Sedaris!
One of my favorite writers, David Sedaris, recommended Wells Towers' writing on NPR a few months ago, and this was the book that came up when I looked for it on Amazon. The blurb on the back cover that mentions that one story is about Vikings who seek to plunder a much-marauded island to dispel the winter blahs, I knew that I *really* wanted to read that story!
While I found all the other stories as interesting, well-written, and worth reading, I do have to admit that that story (which is the main titled, and final, story in the collection) is really the gem of the whole collection. I would highly recommend this book.
