Great lens for the person working with people and an occasional close up of
3 of 3 found this helpful This is a lens that gets batted back and forth! The lens in the hands of experienced users is most always rated high! Some only want you to purchase the newer lighter cheaper and most of the time not as good lens. Nikon builds good lens. some better than others, some way better and on a occasion they hit a triple play... No I am not going to say this is the triple, but it is a home run. It is heavier than the new ones, but to A BIG PLUS a heavier lens is easier to hold still, less body vibration and motion. This is a push pull design and the focal length falls in the great Portrait area. A plus is the macro feature. Be aware it does not work in macro like your mind thinks it should, but it has some very good sharpness. I use it on the D800 and have had some very good shots produced. In fact anytime you can sell a picture then the lens is worth it! The more you sell the better the lens :-) Not really, but it helps when little lens pays for bigger brother lens!! and ads movie money to the bank!!! The camera is Important, but the quality and versatility of the lens is more important. The mind is the most important of all as it is the creation of shot taken. Learn composition, Shadow work, Light work, and the manual side of your camera! Practice a lot and ask for feedback on your work. Shoot for your heart and enjoy your reward to yourself for what you capture. Photography is an Art that is loosing itself into the realm of digital manipulation and falsity of creativity!Stop the erosion, and develop you inner feeling and control of the camera and lens!! Why I use it.
Royal purple is a blend Pearson thetic that gives the air compressor its most optimum efficiency. It made my air compressor run quieter and I am sure I will see the 5000 hours out of it that the builder says it should give. It will stay sealed longer keep compression at its highest and give the smoothest operation available. I’ve used it in old compressors and gave them new life restoring the quality of the compressor. In new compressors it’s just self-explanatory it works. I’ve used it in several different compressors and every one of them has been quieter smoother and more efficient. Which I’m sure will make them last longer!
