Works with the16" Craftsman Model 071-34546.
Contrary to previous reviews stating this will not correctly fit the discontinued Craftsman 16" chain saw, This Poulans 576180701 chain drive sprocket works fine. The original Craftsman drive sprocket consisted of a plain sprocket sandwiched between two washers to retain the chain. This substitute part incorporates a side flange as part of the sprocket casting. There is no way for the chain to jump out of the sprocket. Install this part with the sprocket flange facing the drive motor and install the chain over it. Easy as can be! I purchased this part expecting to have to machine it to be narrow enough to install the additional washer and clip. Machining was not needed and the washer and clip were not used. I now have a working Chainsaw that was headed to the trash because of the unavailable Sprocket. Life is good!
