A couple of suggestions: Just 2 star-head screws hols the assembly in. they are easy to access in the insideside of the bed w the tailgate down. Then 2 studs that snap fit into rubber at the front. Study the new light to understand. I also used the OEM wiring harness and bulbs. Kept the one that came w the light as a spare. the
