new Moto G5 Plus

Very similar to my Moto Pure but l like the slightly smaller size and better camera. The thinner aluminum body is pretty slick, also. Good performer. I haven't seen anything else that comes close for the price.

Good but fragile phone

This Moto X 2nd gen replaces a Moto X that withstood my abuse for two years. Umpteenth drop and I shattered the screen. Phone still works fine, but . . . The 2gen has noticeably larger screen. Thin with the curved back and very comfortable hold. The metal band around the perifery does make it slippery. Texture plastic on 1st gen is better. But 2nd is faster, better camera, etc. But slippery - had 3 wks. Dropped it once and screen shattered . . . gorilla 3 glass didn't help. Long deliberation considering Samsung, LG, HTC, Nexus but cost and lack of bloatware led me back to Moto.
